Melissa Balmain

Research Interests

Melissa Balmain is a journalist, humorist, and editor whose subjects have ranged from popular culture to parenthood, from cattle ranchers to collies that surf. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, McSweeney’s, Details, American Arts QuarterlyMeasure, The Spectator (UK), and many other publications. She writes a column for Success magazine and edits Light (formerly Light Quarterly), an online journal of light verse.
