Piano recital by Włodzimierz Pawlik, famous jazz player and composer, will be followed by a reception. Pawlik composed the music score of one of “Reverse” which is to be shown in the festival.

Włodzimierz Pawlik is an Associate Professor at the Frederic Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. He has cut 21 records under his own name to date and performed at the most notable and prestigious jazz festivals, as well as classical music festivals. Active composer of symphonic music (including piano concerto), vocal-instrumental forms (opera "Via Sancta" premiered in 2007 at the Polish National Opera House in Warsaw, music for William Shakespeare's sonnets), ballet ("Flow"), theatrical and movie soundtracks (including "Crows", "Night watching", "Time To Die", "Reverse", and "Mystification"). Laureate of prizes in many national and interna- tional music competitions in the instrumentalist category and for his compositions.

Q&A Sessions

Robert Więckiewicz, one of the most popular Polish actors, will be present at the festival for Q&A sessions on Sunday, Nov 14th and Monday Nov 15th. He plays main roles in three films shown at the Festival: Little Rose, Zero, and Lullaby.

Robert Więckiewicz is one of the most popular Polish actors. After graduation from the State Drama School in Wrocław he joined the Teatr Polski in Poznań and, in 1999, Teatr Rozmaitości in Warsaw. After his debut on the big screen in 1993, he has created many excellent and diverse interpretations in Polish cinema. Some of his most recent films are: Hidden (2011, just finished), Maidens' Vows (Śluby Panieńskie, 2010), Trick (2010), Little Rose (2010), Lullaby (2010), Never Say Never (2009), The Dark House (2009). Zero (2009), How Much Does the Trojan Horse Weigh? (2008), Lejdis (2008).
