Tell Me More about...
An Enemy of the People

Henrik Ibsenís superb, riveting drama about the conflict between the individualís conscience and the material well-being of a community seems astoundingly modern considering our contemporary debates on the value (and dangers) of fracking and the Keystone XL pipeline. A play that has been turned into a number of movies, inspired adaptations (including one by Arthur Miller), and is even said to have been the inspiration for the movie, Jaws, An Enemy of the People is certain to challenge us while speaking directly to an America torn between democratic and libertarian sensibilities.
