Singers of all ages and abilities are again invited to take part in “Eastman Summer Sings,” the popular Eastman-Rochester Chorus series of choral music reading sessions.  Now marking its 19th season under director William Weinert, professor of conducting and director of choral activities at the Eastman School of Music, the series offers the Rochester community the opportunity to perform choral masterworks with Eastman faculty, Eastman students, and outstanding soloists from the area. Hundreds of Rochesterians have participated in these relaxed and engaging singing experiences through the years.
Scores are provided at the door. The sessions are free, with a $5 suggested donation, and refreshments are also provided.
