Files To Be Backed Up
- DCS Production Support will add your system to a policy set to back
up 'ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES'. What this means is that any volumes local to
the system will be backed up. If there is a need to back up network
attached drives, it can be done as long as an exclude list is present
excluding any network drives that do not need to be backed up, or that
are backed up as part of another system. Note that the need to back
up network drives is rare and will involve a detailed explanation.
Include Lists
- Given that your system will most likey end up in a policy that backs
up 'ALL_LOCSL_DRIVES", the need for include lists is rare.
Exclude Lists
- Exclude lists should be used to exclude files that are backed up
using other agents.
