Billing and Fees

Charges are assessed each academic period as noted below.

Fall

Medical Student charges are assessed around July 1st.
Undergraduate student charges are assessed around July 15th.
Graduate students enrolled in courses are assessed charges on or about August 17th or within a business day of enrolling in courses (later registration will not impact charge due date).

Spring

Undergraduate student charges are assessed around November 15th.
Medical Student charges are assessed around January 5th.
Graduate students enrolled in courses are assessed charges on or about January 5th or within a business day of enrolling in courses (later registration will not impact charge due date).

Summer

Charges for all matriculated undergraduate students in Arts, Sciences or Engineering enrolled in summer courses before April 15th will have their charges assessed on or about April 15th or within a business day of enrolling in courses (later registration will not impact charge due date).
Charges for all other students enrolled in courses are assessed on or about May 12th or within a business day of enrolling in courses (later registration will not impact charge due date).

Students with balances due receive email notification to view the student account 23, 14, and three days before charges are due. Payment is due by the 10th of the month unless otherwise specified. Charges for non-matriculated students are due 15 days after charge assessment & as noted in UR Student. Be sure to review your charges carefully and to contact the Bursar’s Office if you feel any charges are missing or charged in error. Student account activity is updated in real-time. Please allow one business day for UR Student to reflect some updates including financial aid disbursements and changes.
