The Wegman Family Scholarship Challenge

As the Eastman School of Music celebrates its centennial, the school remains dedicated to attracting and enrolling the most outstanding students. Scholarship support enables these talented musicians to launch their musical careers at Eastman and to become leaders in music and the performing arts.
The Wegman family has established a $2 million scholarship challenge to encourage others to support future generations of artistic leaders. The challenge for Eastman’s Centennial Campaign will create 40 to 50 new endowed scholarships of $100,000 or more through the following matches:

The Centennial Campaign for Eastman will ensure the school’s second century of excellence by endowing our greatest talent: our students. Please consider a partnership with us to allow Eastman students to go out into the world, inspire audiences, and transform lives through music.
This scholarship challenge is valid for commitments made between March 1, 2019 and March 1, 2022, or until the challenge fund is fully dispersed. Commitments may be paid over a five-year period. A one-time match of $33,000 will also be available for new cash gifts of $67,000 or more to an existing Eastman School of Music scholarship.
