Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences
● Support fueled research that is creating powerful new techniques for collecting and analyzing huge data sets that have potential to help prevent global epidemics or accurately predict the marketability of a product.
● A new master’s program was created at the Center for Medical Technology and Innovation. Engineering students spend time in operating rooms and other clinical settings to gain a better understanding of how to design devices that will meet the needs of patients and those who treat them.
● Since 2007, Annual Fund support helped increase engineering students’ participation in study abroad experiences from 4 percent to 18 percent.
