  • Earned his M.S. from California Institute of Technology in 1940

  • General Manager, Atomic Power Division from 1957-60; Director of Management and Professional Personnel Services, 1960-64
  • Vice President of four different areas, 1964-74 before accepting a position as Vice President, European Division, 1974-80
  • Vice President of the International Division from 1980-81
  • Retired in 1981
  • Trustee, American School of Paris, 1975-80
  • Life Trustee of the University since 1980
  • Member, Trustees Council, 1964-68; Chairman, 1965
