Blackboard at UR
**Coming for Summer 2016**
Starting with the Summer 2016 courses, we will be moving to a new Blackboard system on an updated version of the software (Blackboard 9.1, update Q4 2015). The new URL will be:
All UR staff and students will log in with NetID.
New features include a true student preview mode, inline grading, video conferencing, and much more. For a complete list of changes and links to documentation and videos demonstrating the new features, see "What's New in Blackboard update Q4 2015."
Current version (my.rochester.edu/bb.urmc.rochester.edu)
Spring 2016 courses will continue on my.rochester.edu (version 9.1 SP13) through the end of the term.
Blackboard works best in tested OS/browser configurations. Find out if you're using a supported browser: Supported Browsers for Blackboard 9.1, SP13.
Help tab: Don't forget that documentation is all linked from the "Help" tab after logging into Blackboard:
Unavailable courses that are older than two years will no longer be displayed to faculty. We believe that this will cut down on the number of courses listed and make management of course materials easier. Faculty can request access to older courses (up to 5 years) by sending an email to UnivITHelp@rochester.edu with the name of the course and the semester it was taught.
