Anya Klepikov

Anya Klepikov is a New York based set and costume designer. Her previous collaborations with director Mike Donahue include: Ibsen’s Brand, Rent, Tommy, Bacchae, Big Love, Recess, The Animals, God is a DJ, Electronic City, Shostakovich’s Moscow, Cheryomushki! at Chicago Opera theater, and their winning production proposal for Osvaldo Golijov’s Ainadamar, for Opera America's inaugural Director-Designer Showcase. Anya’s costumes for A Woman of No Importance at the Yale Repertory Theater won the Connecticut Critics’ Circle Award for Outstanding Costume Design, and her set designs have been featured in American Theatre magazine and Live Design magazine. Current and upcoming projects include Adam Goldman’s new web series, Whatever This Is, As You Like It directed by Mike Donahue, and a stage adaptation of Great Expectations at Princeton University where Anya is a frequent guest artist and mentor. Passionate about sharing her love of design, Anya is currently a teaching artist with Roundabout Theater Company, and has lectured on the subject of Color in Design at the Yale School of Drama.
