Courses

Arts, Sciences and Engineering at the University of Rochester offers more than 70 different majors, 96 minors, and countless clusters. These programs are offered through our 49 different academic departments and programs.

During the application process, students will be informed about registration, which will be completed before arrival. After arrival, students will have four weeks to modify their schedules.

Language of Instruction: English

Credit Load: Typically 16 credits (usually 4 courses)

Minimum credit load: 14 credits

Maximum credit load: 19 credits

Restrictions: School of Medicine and Dentistry courses and graduate courses at the Simon Business School are not available (undergraduate courses at Simon Business School are available). Enrollment in Eastman School of Music courses and independent studies is possible with faculty approval.
