Dear School of Medicine and Dentistry Class of 2009 Alumni:
Unbelievably, it has been 5 years since we were all together at Eastman Hall, celebrating the end of medical school and the beginning of an unknowable future. Since then we have scattered to the winds, across all four time zones, dozens of states and nearly every medical specialty. Some of us are finished with our medical training and are now working as attendings, while others of us toil on as trainees.
I very much hope that each and every one of you can find time in your busy schedules and lives to come back to Rochester this fall for our 5th Reunion! Back together again, we can explore the Case Method room together, answer age-old questions like, "Does David Lambert ever age?" or "Is Chin-To Fong still the saint we remember him as?" or "How can we ever expect any URSMD class to live up to the standards of the class of 2009?"
So let's get back together, spend time again seeing old classmates, renewing old friendships, getting to know our URSMD Class of 2009 family all over again, now expanded by spouses and offspring. Together, we can explore the growing campus and revel in the memories of our years together.
We are so excited to be a part of Meliora Weekend again this year. Meliora Weekend is an All-University event that combines Reunion Weekend, Alumni Weekend and Homecoming and has something for everyone: thought-provoking programming, entertaining performances, networking opportunities and, of course, time to reconnect with longtime friends and classmates.
The School of Medicine and Dentistry and the entire Rochester community is ready to welcome you back for your reunion. We encourage you to make plans now to join your classmates October 16-19, 2014 for your reunion. We look forward to seeing you there!
