SEAS Xerox Engineering
Research Fellows

The Xerox Engineering Research Fellows program is designed to provide engineering undergraduates with an opportunity to participate in a research experience in the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.  This research will start in the summer and continue through the fall and spring semesters of the following year, for which they will receive course credit.  The competitive program will include faculty and students from all departments within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Institute of Optics.  
Fellows will be selected in the spring semester of their sophomore or junior year. Selection criteria include research interests, competitive academic performance, and intellectual ability and curiosity. Stipends and housing will be provided to student participants during the summer through the office of the dean.  The selection of Xerox Engineering ReseachFellows is highly competitive and will provide a unique and distinguishing research intensive experience.  Applications will be accepted from students majoring in one of the programs listed below:

Eligibility: To be eligible for this program you must be a University of Rochester sophomore or junior majoring in any of the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences departments listed.
