Welcome to the Rochester family! The Office of Orientation and New Student Programs is here to support you and help prepare you for a successful start to your University of Rochester journey.
The Arts, Sciences & Engineering undergraduate orientation program is required for all incoming first-year and transfer students and consists of two parts:
Part One
This program is designed to introduce you to University academics and student life. You are required to complete Rochester Ready before you arrive on campus. There are four main components to the Rochester Ready program:

Learn more about each component of the Rochester Ready online orientation program and view instructions on how to access the videos and modules you'll need to watch and complete.
Part Two
After completing the Rochester Ready program, you are required to attend Welcome Week. Planned by the orientation team, Welcome Week events are designed to provide you with opportunities to connect with fellow incoming students and learn to navigate campus and academics.
