St. Andrew's Society Scholarship Timeline

2023-24

Below is the University of Rochester campus timeline for the St. Andrew’s SocietyScholarship for Graduate Study in Scotland.

Please be advised that before we nominate you or endorse your candidacy for a fellowship competition, we will perform a conduct and academic honesty check to confirm that you are in good disciplinary and academic standing.

October 20:

Submit the Prospective Applicant Form and the St. Andrew's Interest Form.
After submission, schedule a meeting with the director of fellowships.
Submit a Fellowships Preliminary Questionnaire. Already submitted an FPQ? If it has been more than one academic year since you completed your FPQ, please submit the FPQ Update.

November 21:

Upload a complete St. Andrew's application (available from the Fellowships Office) to our secure online portal.
Three recommendation letters are due for campus nomination process:
- Please share this link with your recommenders
- Submitted letters should be on letterhead, signed, dated, and saved as a PDF file
- Be sure to provide referees with St. Andrew’s Society Graduate Scholarship overview and selection criteria
- Recommendation letter files should be named according to this format: Student Last Name_St Andrew's Rec_Recommender Last Name (e.g., Smith_St Andrew's Rec_Jones)

Early December: The Campus Nominating Committee meets on December 5, 6, or 7 to select nominee; committee may elect to interview candidates.

December 12, 2:00pm ET: Complete, final, revised St. Andrew’s application and final recommendation letters due for nominee. (Only for student who has been nominated)
