Join us on Friday morning between 8:45 and 10 am in the Rettner Gallery of Morey Hall (the 3rd floor lounge) for some breakfast treats. Stop by for a minute, or stay and chat with us for longer.

Want to spend next summer in Germany doing research? Come learn about DAAD RISE! Paid research in English-speaking labs in Germany. Critical Language Scholarship Info Session & Student Panel

Rush Rhees Humanities Center, Conference Room D

Would you like to spend the summer of 2024 learning Hindi, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese, or Turkish? How about Swahili, or Persian, or Arabic? The Critical Language Scholarship is open to full-time university undergraduates and graduate students, and offers a full scholarship to study one of 13 languages of critical importance to the US in countries where these languages are spoken. Some languages have pre-requisites, but most do not. Want to discuss your application with a fellowships advisor?  Schedule an appointment by emailing fellowships@rochester.edu.    Deadline 11/15/23
