Research Opportunities by Department
Undergraduate Research in the Department of Clinical and Social Sciences in Psychology
The Department of Clinical and Social Sciences in Psychology has a strong undergraduate research program. During the academic year, many undergraduates work closely with faculty members and graduate students on research. Undergraduate research opportunities are available during the summer, but to a lesser degree than during the academic year. Typically, the students participating in research sign up for an independent study or a research seminar for which they receive credit. Most of the research done by undergraduates in the Department involves the collection and coding of data for ongoing research projects. The Department of Clinical and Social Sciences in Psychology also has an honors program that involves students designing and executing their own research study.
