Individuals With Disabilities

Although the term “diversity” is often used to refer to differences among individuals such as ethnicity, gender, age and religion, diversity actually encompasses the infinite range of individuals' unique attributes and experiences, including an individual’s ability or disability.

The University of Rochester welcomes students, faculty, staff and visitors with disabilities to our campus. We strive to meet the needs of all qualified participants in our programs and services by providing support and connection to resources within the University. Please see below for information specific to students, employees, visitors and teaching.
