When Gary Clinton ’73 and Don Millinger ’76 planned their gifts to the University, their desire was to ensure their support would align with their beliefs and goals. “We wanted to give to the University of Rochester in a way that made sense for us personally,” said Don. The couple met at Rochester in the mid-70’s through their pioneering LGBTQ rights and education efforts. Don and Gary recently established a fund that provides new programming and financial assistance for LGBTQ students. They also put the University into their wills to establish the Donald Millinger/Gary Clinton LGBTQ Endowed Fund, which will provide groundbreaking support at the University in perpetuity.
