University IT uses Sophos PureMessage as a web-based spam filtering system for all email messages on University servers. Visit the spam management page for more information on PureMessage, to sign up for PureMessage filtering and client configuration.
Spam filtering may be set up not only for individual email accounts, but for Majordomo and Exchange mailing lists as well.
Majordomo mailing lists and Exchange distribution lists can be set up to filter out spam messages.
