Remote Access: VPN
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is used to access restricted University resources from off campus through a secured Internet connection. Faculty, staff, and students with a current, active relationship with the University can use VPN. University resources that do not require VPN to access remotely include email, SharePoint, and most library resources.
University IT is upgrading VPN and implementing Duo two-factor authentication to enhance information security and better protect remote access to University resources. To continue using VPN, upgrade your VPN client by June 3, 2015.
To connect to the University network remotely, you will need to install the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client on your computer or mobile device. This is a one-time process. Be sure to complete this upgrade on all computers and mobile devices on which you use VPN.
