Virtual Private Networking - URMC
Attention Medical Center faculty, staff and administration:
Before attempting to set up Virtual Private Networking, please read the information at URMC VPN (requires URMC domain login), especially the discussion of easier alternatives for email access.
You MUST use the URMC VPN service and your Active Directory domain userID and password to access internal URMC-SH systems. NetIDs are unnecessary and unusable for this purpose.
URMC-SH users needing assistance with the VPN service should call the ISD Help Desk at 275-3200 between 7AM and 6PM.
URMC Medical Students are not automatically granted access to VPN services. Students who believe they require access should contact the Computing Center Help Desk at 275-6865 or CCDesk@urmc.rochester.edu.
