WHO: University of Rochester undergraduates gather together to watch the results of local and national elections.

TIME, DATE, PLACE: 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, in Hirst Lounge, Wilson Commons.

WHAT: During the course of the campaign season, University of Rochester undergraduates have gathered to watch the Republican and Democratic national conventions, the vice presidential debate, and the three presidential debates. On Tuesday, Nov. 6, they'll gather again to view the results of the election. The event is hosted by the Committee for Political Engagement (CPE), a nonpartisan civic engagement group on campus.

POLLING INFORMATION: CPE has organized efforts to help students cast their ballots on Election Day. The polling site for students registered with a University address (excluding Riverview) is Saunders Research Building (located on Crittenden Boulevard near the Medical Center) and is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The polling site is a 15-minute walk from the River Campus.

Students will be able to take the Blue Line to Whipple Park via Hospital, and get off at Helen Wood Hall from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2 to 3:25 p.m. and 4:50 to 7:30 p.m. Students may also request a ride from the Committee for Political Engagement by filling out an online form. Shuttles will run based on need and depart from ITS between 10 to 11:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m., 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Email uofr.cpe@gmail.com with questions and concerns.
