Assignments are based on the Principal Investigator’s department (primary appointment). Use the IRB coordinators by department listing below to identify your IRB Coordinator.
Find My IRB Coordinator
All RSRB (IRB) submissions are assigned an IRB Coordinator. IRB Coordinators:
- Facilitate the review of RSRB (IRB) submissions
- Act as the study team’s primary contact for questions related to IRB/RSRB submissions
Submissions are assigned to an IRB Coordinator based on the nature of the submission.
Who’s my IRB Coordinator?
For multi-site studies
- When the RSRB will act as the Reviewing IRB, submissions are assigned to Michelle Giglio at michelle_giglio@urmc.rochester.edu
- When an External IRB will act as the Reviewing IRB, submissions are assigned to Chelsea Marsh at chelsea_marsh@urmc.rochester.edu.
- IRB reliance questions can also be directed to ur_irb_reliance@urmc.rochester.edu.
Once a proposal has been submitted to the RSRB and has been assigned an IRB Coordinator, the assigned coordinator can be identified in the upper right corner of the study workspace.
Note: All IRB coordinators work remotely. They can be contacted by the email and phone numbers listed below, and are also available through MS Teams and Zoom.
