Showing off their Cat-in-the Hat hats: Freshmen Jill Buhler, Mikey Naviskey, and Randi Stark came prepared to enjoy Yellowjacket Day in style. This year's version of the annual Back-to-School celebration, incidentally, was the 20th anniversary of the event, immediately dubbed "an instant tradition" back in 1976. Aside from the weather ('76 was sunnier) and a bit of a change in hair styles of the participants (men's shorter, women's longer), the '96 Yellowjacket Day differed little from the first, what with games, rides, entertainers galore, and (of course) plenty of eats.
