Kathy Lynn Lindstrom has been promoted to staff development coordinator at WCA Healthcare Services in Jamestown, N.Y. She has also been elected vice president of Staff Development Educators of Western New York.
Cathy Miller Stein was part of the team of psychiatric nurses from Kings Park Psychiatric Center who helped families and friends of the 230 people who died in the TWA flight 747 crash in July 1996. She writes of the experience, "During the first day, we observed family members arriving at the hotel hoping to find out that their loved ones were alive. As time progressed, this changed to hoping that a body could be found. . . . We were with them when they heard the awful news that all the bodies might not be identified. Their shock turned to outrage as questions went unanswered because information was not yet complete. Helping them to process the details was the first form of assistance we were able to provide. . . ."
Navy Lt. Cmdr. Susan P. McKeefrey serves at the Naval Hospital in Newport, R.I. . . . Lynn Durso Quillan '85N (Mas) has moved to South Carolina with her husband, Michael, and sons, Matthew, 7, and Kevin, 5. She is working as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner for Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, S.C.
Pamela Murdock Drake writes to "proudly announce the birth of our third child, Jared William, on April 3. He joins big sister, Hannah, 6, and big brother, Ethan, 2. My husband, Col. Gregory Drake, M.D., and I will soon be moving to North Carolina."
Maria DiRico O'Reilly writes, "My husband, Michael, and I proudly announce the birth of our third child, Caroline Maye, on June 9, 1996. Her big brothers, Rob, 5, and Teddy, 3, are thrilled with their new sister. We are still living in Madison, N.J. I work per diem at Morristown Memorial Hospital in the CCU."
Hollis Biggs Garver '89N (Mas) writes, "I am still living and working in the Rochester area as a nurse practitioner, completing my FNP in 1997."
Bob Dorman writes, "In July 1996, I married Kristine Taylor '95RC. Guests included Doug Green '91RC, Dan Cohen '91RC, '96S (MBA), David Young, '91RC, Vince Joe '91RC, '95M (MD), Marcy Cohen '91RC, Cindy Buckner '94N, Brenda Pullyblank '94N, Lisa McDermott '94RC, and Angela DiLorio '94RC."
