SIMON OFFERS NEW E-COMMERCE M.B.A.The Simon School is offering a unique new M.B.A. concentration in electronic commerce that addresses the growing demand for managers who understand the myriad ways in which the Internet is changing the face of global business."Everybody talks about how you can use a Web site to make money, but they don't tell you how to do it," says Abram Seidmann, the Xerox Professor of Computers and Information Systems and Operations Management. "What is missing is the nuts and bolts information to make it happen." "We are seeing only the beginning of the major benefits of electronic commerce," he adds. "The tremendous explosion in information-intensive industries is driving a much stronger demand for M.B.A. students who have extensive training and education in all facets of using high technology to manage a business."
