Now Showing: Photo Archive at Sibley LibraryA photographic archive that spans seven decades of musical "legends" and long-ago Eastman School students taken by noted photographer Louis Ouzer has a permanent home at Eastman's Sibley Music Library. With the help of anonymous friends, Eastman has acquired the photographer's life work--thousands of black-and-white images. The collection includes photographs of composer Igor Stravinsky, jazz great Duke Ellington, pianist Glenn Gould, violinists Itzhak Perlman and Isaac Stern, contralto Marian Anderson, soprano Joan Sutherland, entertainer Jack Benny, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, photographer Ansel Adams, and president Richard Nixon--to name just a few of the celebrities Ouzer has captured on film.
