Elaine Graf served as magnet project coordinator for Children's Memorial Medical Center in Chicago. She wrote the application and guided the process that earned the center the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Magnet Award for Nursing Excellence. The Children's Memorial Medical Center was the first pediatric hospital in the nation and the first hospital in Illinois to receive the award.

Margaret Burkhardt (MS) sends an update. Her book, Spirituality: Living Our Connectedness, was published in November 2001. She lives in Beckley, W.Va., with her husband, Joe Golden, and works in a rural healthcare practice. She also offers seminars and workshops on spirituality and healing.

Marcia Petrini '99 (MS) plans to marry Allan Romeo on July 6. She is a cardiology nurse practitioner, and he has a private practice in periodontology.

McKenzie Cantwell married Timothy Jones on May 26, 2001. She is pursuing a degree in widwifery from SUNY Stony Brook and is a community health nurse for Franklin County Nursing Services, and he works for Mountain Lake Children's Residence in Lake Placid, N.Y.
