Medical Student Wins Fulbright

Laura Rau '00, a second-year student at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, received a 2002-03 Fulbright grant.

Rau will spend nine months of study in India, researching Siddha medicine, a practice that combines alchemical, botanical, and zoological elements. She had previously spent a year in India working as a Siddha apprentice and wrote an honors thesis on her initial investigations.
