Class of 2007 Arrives

About 964 freshmen have enrolled in the College, drawn from an applicant pool of 10,489 students.

About 80 percent of the first-year students graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes, and about 17 percent enrolled as early decision. Underrepresented minority students comprised 12.5 percent of the new class.

At the Eastman School, 141 musicians from across the United States and nine other countries arrived on Gibbs Street as freshmen.
