FILM STUDIES: Students interested in both museum curatorship and film studies will soon be able to pursue a degree in a program that encompasses both fields, thanks to a new effort by the University and George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film. Beginning with the 2005–06 academic year, students in the L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation at the Eastman House will have the option of enrolling in a two-year graduate program leading to a master of arts degree through the Department of English.

All students in the program will begin their work at the Selznick School. Students can opt to receive a certificate from Selznick after one year of study or choose to complete the two-year program through the English department.
