“I knew I wanted a career in medicine, and I was looking for a medical school, but my parents wanted me to go to the school they knew about, which was closest to home, even though they weren’t necessarily expecting me to commute to college. When I got accepted to Rochester, I visited during the Multicultural Visitation Program and found a really wonderful faculty here. The excitement and joy I found in the student life really made me love the school. I couldn’t choose any other place than here.”
