Nancy Heller Cohen has published Perish by Pedicure (Kensington), the latest in her Bad Hair Day mystery series.

1975
Jean Brown ’91 (PhD), a professor and associate dean at the University at Buffalo School of Nursing, was named interim dean of the nursing school.

1977
Kit Bakke is the author of Miss Alcott’s E-mail: Yours for Reforms of All Kinds (David R. Godine). In the book, Bakke imagines what it would be like to be able to talk with Louisa May Alcott.

1981
Cheryl Mahoney (MS) has been named an assistant professor of nursing at Monroe Community College in Rochester.

1989
Patricia Tabloski (PhD) published Gerontological Nursing: The Essential Guide to Clinical Practice (Pearson Prentice Hall). Patricia writes, “Bolstered by current research in nursing, medicine, sociology, and psychology, this book emphasizes both critical thinking and application of the nursing process to give students the confidence they need to provide the highest level of care.”

Virginia Duffy (PhD), an adjunct assistant professor at the School of Nursing, was inducted into the Nurses in Business Hall of Fame last October for her contributions and support of nurses in nontraditional careers.
