WINDWARD: Thomas Ridgeway Gould's 1876 sculpture The West Wind greets visitors to Seeing America, and exhibition that opened this spring at the Memorial Art Gallery. A reinstallation of the gallery's American collection, the exhibition's 114 works span four centuries in what curator Marjorie Searl calls "a journey in space and time."
