1947

Ted Haley (MD) sends a photo showing him and his wife, Rosel, at a commencement ceremony for medical students at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, Ill., where he is an associate professor of surgery. This summer, he noted that he and Rosel were planning to attend his class reunion in September and were hoping “to see all surviving members of our great class there, too.”

Andrew Scala (PhD), a professor of biology at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., received the first Orcutt Faculty Endowed Chair for the 2007–08 academic year, an honor from the college that recognizes excellence in teaching nontraditional students.

David Haines (MD) was named chief of the division of cardiovascular medicine at Beaumont Hospitals in Detroit.
