NEW SPACE: Rachel Ladenheim ’08, a Spanish major from Penfield, N.Y., pauses from her studies in the Gleason Library, a newly renovated space in Rush Rhees Library that was formally dedicated this fall. Named in honor of the Gleason Foundation, chaired by James Gleason ’68S (MBA), a life trustee of the University, and his wife, Janis, a director of the foundation, the new space was designed in part based on ideas for what students wanted to see in a new, collaborative workspace.
