Reading like a “Who’s Who” of University history—Rush Rhees, George Eastman, and Edward Miner are among the many hundreds whose names are listed—the Greater University Campaign Donor Book marks the success of the 1924 campaign that resulted in the purchase of the land for and the creation of what is now the River Campus. Housed in the Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation, the book was on display this April during a gala celebration in New York City to mark the launch of a new donor society, the George Eastman Circle.
