Essie Germanow sends a photo of herself with Olympia Dukakis, who spoke at Lifespan’s 2008 Celebration of Aging on March 18 in Rochester. During the event, Essie was awarded an Eli Rudin Second Half Hero Award. One of five recipients, she was recognized for her volunteer work, energy, and positive outlook.
