1980

Peter Serry writes that copies of his father’s (John Serry Sr.) compositions have been accepted into the archives of the Eastman School of Music’s Sibley Music Library within the Ruth T. Watanabe Special Collections Department. The works include scores for piano, organ, flute, and free bass accordion, and reflect developments in modern music from the Big Band era of the 1930s to modern times. They are open for research purposes. Peter writes, “Best wishes to my fellow graduates from the Music Interest Floor.”

1983

Raymond Fantone announces that he received his MBA from the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business in December 2007.

1985

Washingtonian magazine included Kenneth Gelfarb in the magazine’s December 2007 “Top Lawyers” issue in the real-estate law category. He is a partner with Tenenbaum & Saas in Chevy Chase, Md., and his practice focuses on real-estate and business law. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Bethesda, Md. . . . John Tanenbaum and his wife, Amy, write to announce the birth of their fourth child, Rebecca Eve, last January. Rebecca joins her two big brothers, Daniel (10 ¼), Samuel (8 ½); and her big sister, Hannah (6 ½). John is a practicing real-estate attorney and developer. He writes, “Amy and I are very busy tending to all the children’s activities, two goldendoodle puppies, and the reconstruction and renovation of our home. Life is as good as it gets, and we reside in Harrison, N.Y.” He adds that he would love to hear from his Rochester friends at johnmtanenbaum@aol.com.

Julie Petronio Fisher and her husband, Tom, send a photo to announce the birth of their second daughter, Kristina Lynn. Kristina joins big sister, Molly, 4.

1989

Christian Schulitz and Laura Ambrosio Schulitz ’90 write to announce the birth of their daughter, Addison Elizabeth, last December. She joins brother Christian, 5, and big sister Sophia, 3. Christian writes, “This moves us from one-on-one coverage to zone (for all you football fans). Laura and I also will celebrate 20 years since our first date—which was at the University! We live in Stamford, Conn.”
