Julie Barrie Buchanan sends a photo of three members of the Class of ’91 and their children: Julie and her daughter, Claire; Pamela Delp Polashenski ’02M (MD) and her daughters, Tallis, Maya, and Anastasia; and Lauren Green Krebs and her daughters, Shea and Kaya. The former roommates met in Rochester to ring in the new year. Julie and her family moved from Manhattan back to her hometown of Washington, D.C.; Pam and her family remain in Rochester, where Pam practices medicine; and Lauren continues to live and work in Basel, Switzerland, with her family. . . . Carolyn Weisberger Mendelson writes that she led a Continuing Legal Education seminar at the Pennsylvania Securities Commission’s Compliance 2007 Conference in Hershey, Pa., in October, concerning investment advisor and broker-dealer compliance with industry suitability regulations. Carolyn was recently selected by the North American Securities Administrators Association to participate in a joint initiative with SEC and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority regarding baby-boomer and elderly investors. Carolyn is counsel to the Pennsylvania Securities Commission in Pittsburgh.

Peter Perkowski writes to announce that he was elected to the partnership of the international law firm of Winston & Strawn. He practices in the litigation department of the Los Angeles office.

1993

Erika Fread Goldstein, her husband, Howard, and daughter, Emily, send a photo to announce the birth of twins Brandon Ross and Haley Jill, who were born last October. Erika writes, “All my children are a bundle of fun and keep us busy every minute of the day!” Erika has left AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals to become a stay-at-home mom, and Howard is a tax partner with KPMG in Philadelphia. . . . Alison Miller writes to announce the publication of her first book, One Night in Boston. She writes, “I currently teach English and education courses full-time to high school seniors in Orange County, N.Y. In my spare time, though, I write fiction under the pen name Allie Boniface and have a Web site where friends and readers can find out about my upcoming releases as well as various signings and appearances: www.allieboniface.com. . . . Stephen and Martha Huss Picard send a photo to announce the birth of their son, Anthony Ryan, born April 2007. The family lives in Billerica, Mass. . . . Sara Velazquez sends a photo to announce her marriage to Peter Kertz on September 1, 2007. Sara is a pediatrician and partner at Paradise Pediatrics in Phoenix, and Peter is a photojournalist for Fox. Sara writes, “We have started a new business (www.thesonicseal.com) making waterproof covers for Sonicare toothbrushes! Friends can contact me at info@thesonicseal.com.”

Ross Doyle writes that he was promoted to vice president of sales and application engineering at Rayonix in Evanston, Ill., which makes X-ray equipment for scientific research. He writes, “My physics major and Japanese minor from Rochester have both served me well—besides the obvious connection to physics, I travel to Asia several times per year and use my language skills as much as possible when speaking to Japanese customers.” . . . Mitch Riesenberger writes to announce that he and his wife, Jenn, and son, Drew, welcomed Alexandra Elizabeth to their family last February. They live in Boston, Mass.

1996

Russell Drazin reports that he was elected director at the law firm of Jackson & Campbell in Washington, D.C. . . . Asher Epstein and Julie Reisler Epstein ’97 and daughter, Dalia Rose (future Class of 2028, writes Asher), announce the addition of Ami Josef Robinson Epstein to their family. Asher writes, “Everyone is doing quite well, but it is a bit of an adjustment having two children under 2! You can find us on Facebook to see more pictures and reconnect.”

Heather Lantz Beierle and her husband, Mark, send a photo to announce the arrival of their first child, Lauren Kate, last March. . . . Joanne Cosiol sends a photo to announce her marriage to Josh Faber on November 3, 2007. In attendance were (left to right) Josh Lefkowitz ’96, Stacy Kaye ’96, Andrea Bolden Kanter ’95, Jeff Moore ’96 (his wife Erica Kuntz Moore was home with their sick child), Colette Linzmeyer Stanzler, Rebecca Bier, Julie Reisler Epstein, and Stefanie Greenberg Chautin. Joanne is working as in-house counsel at the Carlyle Group in Washington, D.C. . . . Julie Reisler Epstein (see ’96). . . . Michele Spilberg Hart and her husband, Victor, send a photo to announce the birth of their second child, Henry Michael, in August 2007. He joins big brother Owen. . . . Marie Castro Russell and her husband, Mark, write that they welcomed their first child, a baby boy, London Wayne Russell, last January. Marie and Mark still live on the beach in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

1999

Jeff Reidmiller and Alexandra Boyer Reidmiller ’01N announce the birth of their second child, Sebastian John, last March. . . . Jeremy Speich writes that he was awarded an LLM in taxation from the New York University School of Law. He is an associate with McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams in Albany, N.Y., where he is a member of the firm’s business and tax department.
