Nancy Lewis Walden sends a photo from her trip to Cambodia with Joyce Goldstein Dainoff. They spent time with their foster-adopted daughters, Dany and Sokunthear (respectively). “The girls reside at the Future Light Orphanage located outside the capital city of Phnom Penh,” Nancy writes. “This photo was taken at a temple near Angkor Wat. We financially support these young girls and stay in touch with them on a regular basis. This helps the girls to practice their reading and writing English and gives us an opportunity to provide nurturing encouragement and support of their schoolwork and their lives in general. I’ve made three trips to the orphanage in the last 18 months, and in July, Joyce will be making her second trip.”
