Marvin Epstein (MD) was recently profiled in The Valley Times of Contra Costa County, Calif., for his role in the planning, funding, and development of the John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, Calif.

1976

Roy Jacobstein (Res) has published Fuchsia in Cambodia (TriQuarterly Books/Northwestern University Press), a collection of award-winning lyric poetry that draws upon his work in international health and his experience in becoming an adoptive parent of a Cambodian daughter on Sept. 11, 2001.

1981

David Nash (MD), chair of the Department of Health Policy at Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson Medical College, will serve as the founding dean of the Jefferson School of Health Policy and Population Health.

1983

Dana Bovbjerg (PhD) joined the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute as director of the biobehavioral medicine program. He also was appointed a professor in the psychiatry department at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
