Valerie Ann Leeds, an independent curator and art historian specializing in American art, writes that her book, 101 Masterpieces of New York City: Must-See Works of Art and Architecture, will be published early in 2009. She also organized a survey of photorealism, Shock of the Real: Photorealism Revisited, which opened in December at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. . . . Barry Temkin writes that he is teaching a course on legal ethics at Fordham University Law School and has published an article called “Deception in Undercover Investigations” in the Seattle University Law Review. . . . Another Class of 1979 lawyer, Sharon Porcellio, has been named a partner in the Rochester law firm of Ward Norris Heller & Reidy, as well as cochair of the New York State-Federal Judicial Council.
