Sara Gillis writes that she received her law degree from the University of Denver and plans to sit for the Colorado state bar exam. She adds that she is married to Walter Gillis ’02S (MBA).

2003

Angela Cucci ’03 writes that she and Jason Rice ’01, ’03S (MBA) were married last July. Other alumni and friends in attendance were Andrea Shaye, Derick Eng, and Kim Kowalke, a professor of music in the College and at the Eastman School. Jason and Angela live in Oakland, Calif. Jason is a team leader for Nestle Purina, and Angela is director of student affairs and an 11th-grade English teacher at a public school in Oakland.

2004

Dave Iseminger writes that he graduated from the University of Washington’s school of law in June and passed the Washington state bar exam. He adds that he finished his term as the vice president of the Graduate and Professional Student Senate at the University of Washington in Seattle. In his role as vice president, he was a registered lobbyist in Olympia, Wash., and lobbied for the passage of a state hate crimes and K–12 antibullying expansion bill that added gender identity and expression as protected classes. He now clerks for Judge Christine Quinn-Brintnall on the Washington Court of Appeals in Tacoma. . . . Julia Sando writes that she and Rod Hilton were married at the River Campus Interfaith Chapel last August. The reception was held at the Inn on Broadway. Julia and Rod have both completed master’s degrees. Julia earned hers in applied mathematics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Rod earned his in software engineering from Regis University.

2005

Nels Youngborg writes that he has become a certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design advanced professional for new construction.
