Celebrating George in July For the third year in a row, the Young Alumni Council and the Office of Alumni Relations teamed up during the week of July 12—the birthday of George Eastman—to sponsor birthday parties for George around the country. This year, alumni marked the 159th anniversary of Eastman’s birth with 12 parties in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Baltimore, the Twin Cities, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, West Orange, N.J., and Rochester.
