LIBRARIES The Very Model of a Major Collection

MATTERS VEGETABLE AND MINERAL: A selection of posters featuring the Victorian-era comic operas of W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan took center stage this fall at Rush Rhees Library. Drawn from a collection of 150 posters from the 20th century donated by Hal Kanthor ’66M (MD), a Rochester-area pediatrician, the exhibition also featured programs, souvenirs, and photographs representing the work of the British team that produced some of the English-speaking world’s most memorable stage productions.
