Responsibilities of the Provost
The Provost is the chief academic officer for the University, advocating for the University’s academic enterprise and promoting the intellectual life of its community. To achieve this mission, the Provost’s Office ensures the quality and integrity of academic programs and initiatives involving faculty and students. The Office’s goal works with the entire campus community to ensure that faculty and student needs are met and the University’s mission fulfilled.
