The forum will be streamed online at www.rochester.edu/news/live.
The Forum begins at 4:00pm EST on Thursday, October 4 and concludes at 3:00pm on Saturday, October 6 at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Please see this map of the University of Rochester Forum events.
Faculty, students, and industrial partners of the university are encouraged to attend the Forum. Attendance is limited and you are encouraged to reserve your seat at the forum by September 14. Later registrations will only be accommodated if space remains. Due to a special grant from the Dean of Arts, Sciences & Engineering we are able to offer a reduced registration rate to University of Rochester faculty, students, staff, and alumni.
UR faculty, staff, students, and alumni who previously registered at the higher rate will receive a refund. Employees of the University of Rochester can pay for registration by a 312 requisition. We will also accept personal or business checks. Invited speakers for the Forum will be automatically registered.
Update: The Forum is sold out, and registration is closed. If you sent your registration request on September 13-14, you might not have received a confirmation. We are carefully counting all the available seats, taking into account attendees and speakers who will only be attending on certain days. When this is complete, we confirm as many of the outstanding registration requests as possible. We are also making arrangements to have the talks streamed over the internet.
For further questions about registration, contact Melissa Singkhamsack by phone at (585) 275-5478 or by email at rocdata@cs.rochester.edu.
A block of rooms for Forum attendees is being held at:
Staybridge Suites - University Rochester
1000 Genesee Street
Rochester, NY 14616

For a discounted rate ($112 per night), please mention the group name, ROCDATA Forum, and make your reservation directly with the hotel by September 10th. A buffet breakfast is included at the hotel.
Invited speakers should make their own airline reservations and send their flight information to the Forum organizers at rocdata@cs.rochester.edu. The organizers will book hotel rooms for them at the Staybridge Suites next to campus.
The Greater Rochester International Airport is a short 10 minute cab ride away from campus and from the Staybridge Suites. There are direct flights or one stop connections to most major US cities. However, many flights to Rochester sell out, so travelers are encouraged to make reservations early. Most attendees can plan to fly into Rochester for the 4:00pm start of the Forum on October 4th and return home after the end of the conference on Saturday October 6th.
